HMA

HMA, formerly known as HideMyAss, remains an active VPN offering with apps for common desktop and mobile platforms. Its plan selection includes five- and ten-device options. That makes the exact plan more useful than a single device number copied from an old review, especially for a household with several phones and computers.

The official feature page describes a kill switch and split tunneling, but uses platform indicators. Treat those as a prompt to check your application rather than a promise that every device receives every control. A useful shortlist comparison focuses on the app you will use, how easily you can understand its connection state, and whether its settings match your needs.

HMA advertises a seven-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Read the current signup and cancellation terms before starting, and compare total charges and renewal arrangements rather than a monthly equivalent alone. This assessment is based on official information, not independently measured speeds or streaming results. It does not validate a privacy audit or make a guarantee about access to particular services.
